Condemning cartoonist Bala's arrest over a derogatory cartoon on the Nellai incident where a family took their lives owing to usury, founder and General Secretary of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Vaiko has hit out at the state government and urged it to withdraw the case. He has reportedly said that media has the power to question irregularities and the government needs to take the same in the right spirit and correct its flaws.
