Cartoonist Bala who was released on bail on Monday reportedly spoke to the media and said that he had only expressed his state of mind about the government’s carelessness through his drawing after seeing the horrifying incident of children being burnt alive. He further added, “EPS government has pledged us to BJP,” and said that he will continue drawing against the “slave government” till they are ousted from power. Notably, he was arrested on Sunday for mocking the Chief Minister, Tirunelveli district collector and police commissioner in his drawing.
