Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s niece J Deepa has reportedly stated that she will contest in the Radha Krishnan Nagar constituency bypolls. The Chief Election Commissioner of India Achal Kumar Jyoti has recently announced that the RK Nagar bypolls will be conducted and completed before December 31, 2017. Notably, the constituency has been lying vacant since the demise of Jayalalithaa in December 2016.
