A 30-year-old woman Sasikala of Madurai was allegedly booked by the cops for pouring hot oil on her husband Parameshwaram's private parts. It is alleged that the women resorted to the act since her husband was engaged in an extramarital affair. Parameshwaram, an auto driver, sustained burn injuries and was rushed to a government hospital for treatment.
