After AIADMK-Amma pary's meeting on August 10th, TTV Dhinakaran was expelled from AIADMK-Amma. If a merger between the two factions happens as expected, a committee to run the party affairs will reportedly be formed.
According to media reports, former Chief Minister O Paneerselvam is projected to take up Dindigal C Srinivasan’s position as the party’s treasurer. Similarly, KA Sengottaiyan, nominated by VK Sasikala as chairperson is expected to step down and E Madhusudanan will be taking up the position. According to New Indian Express, VK Sasikala’s expulsion might also be announced after the expected general secretary meeting.
