The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has reportedly said that many districts of Tamil Nadu will receive rains due to the low pressure in the air. Earlier on Wednesday, Thevaram in Theni district received heavy rains, while parts of Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli witnessed mild rains. Moreover, most parts of Chennai witnessed slights rains during midnight and early morning.
