CHENNAI - WATER SUPPLY TO BE CUT ON FRIDAY IN THESE AREAS

According to reports, water supply will be stopped on Friday in Alandur and nearby areas due to a pipe realigning work.

According to an official release form Metro Water, to facilitate a CMRL overhead bridge a water pipe has to be realigned. Hence, water will be stopped for the day. The pipe will be realigned at 9 am on Friday and water will supply will resume on Saturday.

The areas that are to be affected are:

Balaji Nagar, B V Nagar, Nanganallur and K K Nagar around Alandur, Adambakkam, Cantonment Board, Officers Training Academy, Meenambakkam, Indian Air Force, Pammal Municipality, Anakaputhur, Pozhichlur Village Panchayat, Cowl Bazzar Village Panchayat, Munnavar Avenue and Kannabiran Koil street, and part of Pallavaram.
