According to reports, doctor K Sridhar, who was caught on camera demanding bribe from a visually-impaired person to issue a disability stamp was found hanging in his friend’s residence. He was suspended from service after he confessed to taking bribe from patients to issue disability stamp. Since he was depressed after the suspension, his family reportedly advised him to stay away from the city and he stayed at his friend’s residence in Ponneri. Since he did not answer his phone calls, his relatives requested neighbors to check, who found him hanging. Earlier in September, ‘Arappor Iyakkam’ released a video on their YouTube channel in which the doctor was captured on camera demanding a bribe.
