In a press meet on Wednesday, actor Vishal said, “I am an independent candidate. I’m not sure why they’re targeting me.” “I’m contesting as an Indian, not as a politician,” he added. Notably, the actor’s nomination for RK Nagar bypoll was earlier dismissed by the Election Commission and he also took it to Twitter and addressed the issue to the Prime Minister and the President of India.
