MASTER AUDIO LAUNCH: VIJAY SPEAKS ON POLITICS, RECENT IT RAIDS AND 'FRIEND' AJITH!
Home > News Shots > Tamil NaduVijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master's audio launch was easily the most anticipated event in recent times. Finally, when the day arrived and Vijay took the stage, fans could not wait to listen to what their beloved 'Thalapathy' has got to say.
Vijay seems to have taken an indirect jibe at the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) when he said, "Laws are enacted to meet the needs of people, it is not bringing out a law and try hard to make people fit into that, which is difficult. When I was just 'Ilaya Thalapathy' there were no raids, and when I became 'Thalapathy' everything started. You have to maintain your silence if you have to be genuine and truthful..."
Acknowledging his fans' disappointment over being not able to attend the event, Vijay said, "I'm equally sad."
Vijay further said, "When I asked Vijay Sethupathi why he accepted to be a part of Master, he said 'Because I like you Sir' and that is when I realised that he has not only given me a space in his name but also his heart."
Vijay has donned an eye-catching suit for the evening and when questioned on the attire by the anchor, he said, "Since my costume designer suggested that my dressing should be attractive, I followed my friend Ajith's style."
