People living near the beaches complain that there were about 2 feet foam flood near the beaches for the past 4 to 5 days and they fly into the residential area due to breeze, reports Polimer.

Speaking of the foam, researchers say that the chemical waste coming from the rivers mix with the ocean near the mouth of the river and due to the tides' speed, it creates foam.

Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has taken samples of the foam to identify the chemicals present in it and to stop it.

However, people are playing in the foam and are taking selfies with it.
