PROTEST AGAINST IPL: VETRI MAARAN ALLEGEDLY ATTACKED BY POLICE

In what looks like a battleground, the protesters were lathi charged and Tamil movie director Vetri Maaran's supporter alleged that the former was attacked while the director was seen nodding in agreement to his claim.

Members of various political parties are involved in the protest against IPL as the central government did not take any action in the formation of Cauvery Management Board even after the Supreme Court’s verdict.
