Vellore: Man who strangulated minor to death nabbed

A day after a dead body of a 16-year-old girl from Ozhalai village was found under mysterious circumstances, police reportedly arrested the girl’s 'lover' for murdering her. After inquiring, police found that a 23-year-old youth, Purusothaman strangulated the girl as she allegedly demanded him to marry her as she was pregnant.

 

She was found dead in a thatched-roof house on the outskirts of Ozhalai village in Vellore on Tuesday.
