Veerappan’s close aide dies at Bengaluru hospital.

According to reports, 60-year-old Simon, a close aide of late forest brigand Veerappan, died at a government hospital in Bengaluru on Sunday after his health deteriorated two days ago. He, along with three others, was arrested in connection with a landmine blast in 1993 near Palar in Karnataka. His body will be handed over to his relative named Anbarasan and then be taken to his hometown for funeral, reports added.
