Vairamuthu - Andal controversy: Srivilliputhur Jeeyar’s breaking move

According to media reports, Srivilliputhur Jeeyar Sadagopa Ramanuja has started a hunger strike demanding an apology from lyricist Vairamuthu for his alleged derogatory remarks on Hindu Goddess Andal. A lot of protests has erupted ever since the lyricist wrote an article in Tamil daily Dinamani.
