MAJOR UPDATE ON SHARE AUTO DRIVER WHO TRIED TO ABDUCT GIRL IN GUINDY

In what looks like a major update in the case of a share auto driver, who tried to kidnap a college student, two persons, including the driver, were arrested on Saturday. The 21-year-old victim met her friends at Guindy and boarded a share auto to go to Iyyapanthangal on Monday.

After she filed a complaint, police scanned CCTV footage from the locality and identified the accused. Allegedly, the driver picked up the victim and refused to let any other passengers board the auto and took her to an isolated place when the girl alarmed the locals.
