According to reports, some unidentified persons vandalised the cooking ingredients stored inside an Amma eatery near the new bus stand in Perambalur. Reportedly, they entered the eatery by breaking the lock on Wednesday night and vandalised cooking ingredients including rice, dal, masala and vegetables. The vandalised ingredients are worth Rs 1 lakh and were seen thrown on the floor. They also reportedly stole Rs 400 from the eatery. Police are analysing the CCTV cameras of the nearby commercial buildings, and a probe is going on, say reports.
