TRUCK RUNS OVER TWO CHENNAI COLLEGE STUDENTS TO DEATH

A truck ran over two college students who were waiting at a traffic signal in Perungaluthur on Friday. The duo reportedly visited their friend at Vandalur and was waiting at the Perungalathur traffic when a speeding container truck rammed into their bike.
The deceased were identified as Sadish, 19 and Parthiban, 21. Reportedly, the duo was pursuing their arts degree from a private college in Gowrivakkam.
Parthiban was caught under the wheels of the container and died at the spot, while Sadish was declared brought dead after rushed to the hospital. The truck driver allegedly tried to flee the spot, but he was caught by the public and handed over to the police.
