A police sub-inspector and a lawyer were involved in an altercation at the Thattarmadam police station near Sathankulam in Tuticorin district. An argument broke out between the cop Sundaram and the high court advocate Periasamy on Sunday night. Both of them have reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Sathankulam and are receiving treatment. Police are reportedly probing the incident.
