TUTICORIN: GOVT BUS SET ON FIRE

There seems to be a no end to the violence in Tuticorin with a government bus being torched on Friday.
The gory incident is reported to have taken place at Karangulam in the district, which has been in the storm of things with a massive protest against Sterlite copper plant being operated causing considerable distress to the localites.
Following the violence, buses were asked to return to their respective depots while normal life has been hit.
