After the massive win in RK Nagar bypoll, RK Nagar MLA and the rebel leader TTV Dhinakaran has announced that he will be announcing his party name and symbol on March 15 in Madurai Melur. He took to Twitter and mentioned, "In order to have a registered party to contest in the upcoming local body elections, we will be launching a new party, till we get back AIADMK and two leaves symbol".  Earlier he was serving as AIADMK deputy general secretary and he was ousted from the party after the merger of TN CM Edappadi Palaniswami and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam.
