RK Nagar MLA TTV Dhinakaran on Thursday announced his political party at a meeting in Madurai and named it ‘Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam’. Thousands of his supporters thronged the meeting where he also unveiled the flag of his party and the symbol. Dhinakaran’s move comes after the Delhi High Court last week ordered the Election Commission of India to give his faction of AIADMK an election symbol preferably 'Pressure Cooker'.
