American President Donald Trump took strong exception to Pakistan freeing Jammat-ud-Dawa leader Hafiz Saeed, who is said to be the mastermind behind the Mumbai 26/11 attack amongst other terrorist encounters. Trump warned that bilateral relations between the two nations could be severely strained due to Pakistan's leniency towards Saeed, who's LeT has been designated as a foreign terrorist organisation by the US.
