Venkatesan, 52, and Buvaneshwari, 30, two Sub-Inspectors who worked in the technical wing of the Kanchipuram district police office died when a truck moving on the wrong side of the road collided with their two-wheeler at Palur, near Chengalpet. The Chengalpet police have registered a case and are now actively searching for the driver who abandoned the vehicle and fled the spot.
