Few transgenders who were jailed in Puzhal last Thursday were stripped by women cops, reported News7. The transgenders allegedly protested against the medical qualification exam NEET, after medical aspirant Anitha committed suicide.According to Grace Banu, who was one among the 5 transgenders arrested, the cops wanted to make sure that they were ‘real’ transgenders so they were asked to strip.
