Safeer Karim, the trainee IPS officer who was caught cheating in UPSC exams held in Chennai, has been placed under suspension as per the order of the state home secretary on Thursday, a TOI report says. It may be recalled that Karim was found cheating on October 30 with the help of high tech devices in the examination held at Presidency Girls' Higher Secondary School, Egmore. Later, his wife was also apprehended by the police for helping him.
