According to reports, the setting of easterly wave will likely cause moderate rain across Tamil Nadu for the next three days. However, the Meteorological Department has said that rainfall is not likely to be significant. Reports say, mild showers are likely in Chennai on Thursday and Friday. Notably, Ramanathapuram, Nagapattinam and Tirunelveli districts received rain on Wednesday.
