According to TOI reports, two eight-year-old girls were found dead in a water-filled pit in a village in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu on Thursday. Police and family were reportedly in search of them ever since the girls went missing on Tuesday. On Thursday morning, the girls’ bodies were found in a water-filled pit. Reports say, police suspect the girls could have drowned while they were playing nearby.
