TN +2 RESULTS DECLARED: OVERALL PASS PERCENTAGE, TOP DISTRICTS, SCHOOLS AND OTHER DETAILS!

Tamil Nadu announced Class 12 Board examination results today, July 16. The results have been declared online.

In March, almost 8.16 lakh students appeared for the board examinations. The over-all pass percentage this year has been estimated as 92.3%. Further, female students are reportedly exceeding the pass percentage by 5.3%, standing at 94.8% while male students stand at 89.41%.

Among the several districts, Tirupur has recorded the highest pass percentage (97.12%), followed by Erode with 96.99%, and Coimbatore with 96.39%.

Subject-wise pass percentage is as follows:

Physics: 95.94%

Chemistry: 95.82%

Biology: 96.14%

Maths: 96.31%

Botany: 93.95%

Zoology: 92.97%

Computer Science: 99.51%

Commerce: 95.65%

Accountancy: 94.80%

Further, Government schools show a pass percentage of 85.94. Matric schools stand at 98.70%, Government aided schools stand at 94.30%, Girls schools at 94.81%, boys schools at 83.91%, and co-education schools at 92.72%.
