TN SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH ENGLAND-BASED COMPANY FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF ELECTRIC BUSES

According to reports, an agreement has been signed in the presence of Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami with England-based company C-40 to launch electric buses in Tamil Nadu. The event was presided by the Minister for Transport, M. R. Vijayabhaskar, Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, Girija Vaidyanathan and C-40 officials.
According to reports, the Tamil Nadu government has stated that C-40 will provide assistance for the procurement of low-cost electric buses, acquire new technologies and generate infrastructure for electric bus transport.
