A class five student R Kishore studying at a panchayat union school in Thiruparankundram reportedly lost his vision in his left eye in school premises. The mother of the 10-year-old boy has submitted a petition to the City Commissioner on Tuesday seeking action against the authorities of the panchayat union alleging the school of carelessness in handling the situation after brick powder fell into the boy’s eyes.
