TAMIL NADU REPORTS 75 FRESH CASES OF COVID-19; STATE TOLL CROSSES 300 MARK 

With toll rising at a rapid pace, Tamil Nadu on Thursday reported 75 fresh cases of the coronavirus. Out of 75 cases, 74 of them had participated in the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi's Nizamuddin area last month. 

With the rise in cases, the total confirmed reports now stands at 309 in the state, which includes 264 people who attended the Tablighi event.

Currently, India's COVID-19 count crossed 2000 mark today with over 200 cases being reported in last 24 hours. As the number stands, the total number of Coronavirus cases in India has climbed to 2095 while the deaths related to Covid-19 has also risen to 50.
