TN govt denies parole to Nalini

The Tamil Nadu government has reportedly filed a reply in the Madras High Court that Rajiv Gandhi assassination convict Nalini cannot be released on parole saying she may escape from the law. Nalini had earlier filed a plea in the HC seeking parole for a period of six months for the wedding arrangements of her daughter. Notably, Nalini has been serving the jail term for more than 26 years.
