The department of collegiate education in Tamil Nadu has reportedly issued a circular asking colleges not to allow their campuses to be used to propagate political ideologies. The circular, issued by the director of collegiate education J Manjula, reportedly contended that people with political affiliation advocate the ideologies of their party, thus affecting the students’ education and their research aptitude.
