According to reports, the Tamil Nadu government has announced public holiday on December 2 on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, following a request from Chief Haji. The State government had already announced public holiday on December 1 for the occasion. Milad-un-Nabi is observed to commemorate prophet Mohammad Nabi’s birthday.
