TN farmers protest posing as corpses in crematorium in Trichy

Members of Desiya Thenninthiya Nathigal Inaippu Vivasayigal Sangam protested in a crematorium in Trichy by lying near the pyre wearing garlands on Tuesday. Headed by leader P. Ayyakannu, nearly 10 members took part in the protest to demand the Centre to constitute the Cauvery Management Board.

 

The protestors wore garlands, posed as corpses and laid near remains of cremated bodies. The police immediately rushed to the spot, held talks with them to disperse them.
