COVID-19 IN TN: DISTRICT WISE BREAKUP, TOTAL POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON SEPT 26

Tamil Nadu on Saturday, September 26, reported 5,647 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 5,75,017.   

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu:   

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   46,336. 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,46,918 / 2,28,069  /30.  

 - Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 182 (66 Govt + 116 Private).  

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –   70,04,558.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 94,037. 

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –   67,93,843.  

- Total number of persons tested today –   92,166. 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,19,448.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  5,612.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 85 (35 Private &  50 Govt) / total 9,233.
