COVID-19 IN TN: DISTRICT WISE BREAKUP, TOTAL POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON SEPT 25

Tamil Nadu on Friday, September 25, reported 5,679 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 5,69,370.   

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu:   

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  46,386.   

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,43,470 / 2,25,870 / 30.

 - Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 182 (66 Govt + 116 Private).  

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –   69,10,521.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 94,877. 

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –   67,01,677.  

- Total number of persons tested today –  93,002.     

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,13,836.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  5,626.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 72 (35 Private & 37 Govt) / total 9,148.
