COVID-19 IN TN: DISTRICT WISE BREAKUP, TOTAL POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON SEPT 14

Tamil Nadu on Monday, September 14, reported 5,752 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 5,08,511.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health department of Tamil Nadu:   

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   46,912. 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  3,06,354 / 2,02,128 / 29.  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –170 (65 Govt + 105 Private).  

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –  59,68,209.  

- Total number of samples tested today –   80,123.       

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date – 57,79,589.  

- Total number of persons tested today –   78,190.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  4,53,165.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –    5,799.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 53 (19 Private & 34 Govt) / total 8,434.
