CORONA CASES IN TN RISING: CHECK DETAILS FOR NEW CASES, DEATH AND RECOVERIES AS ON JUNE 4 

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, June 4, reported 1,384 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 27,256. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 4:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  12,132*

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 16,964 / 10,278 / 14 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –  74 (44 Govt+30 Private)      

- Total number of samples tested till date –  5,44,981 

- Total number of samples tested today –  16,447 

- Total number of persons tested till date –  27,256 

- Total number of persons tested today –  1,384   

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 14,901 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 585 

- Total number of deaths today/ till date -   12 / 220
