CORONA CASES IN TN RISING: CHECK DETAILS FOR NEW CASES, DEATH AND RECOVERIES AS ON JUNE 2

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, June 2, reported 1,091 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 24,586. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 2:

Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 10,680* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 15,394 / 9,179 / 13  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 73 (44 Govt+29 Private)

- Total number of samples tested till date – 5,14,433   

- Total number of samples tested today – 11,094 

- Total number of persons tested till date – 4,90,804

- Total number of persons tested today – 10,558 

- Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 7,176    

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 13,706 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 536 

- Total number of deaths today/ till date -  13 / 197
