TN: Cop suffers hand fracture after being attacked by tipplers

A Tirupur sub-inspector, Annadurai suffered a hand fracture after a gang allegedly attacked him when he questioned them about the sale of liquor during non-working hours at a Tasmac outlet on Sunday.

 

The cop who is working at the Tirupur central police station, was on patrol at around  9:00 am when the incident happened. A case has been filed and the accused will reportedly be arrested once proven to be real attackers.
