TN CM OFFERS SOLATIUM TO FAMILY OF CHENNAI TOURIST KILLED IN J&K

According to reports, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami called up Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday to ensure the safe return of 130 Tamil tourists from there. The move came after R Thirumaniselvam, a TN resident died due to stone-pelting in the outskirts of Sri Nagar on Monday.
The CM in an official announcement stated that arrangements for the safe arrival of Thirumaniselvam's body have been made. He also announced a solatium of Rs 3 lakh for the victim's kin.
