According to reports, over 50% of the public transport buses in the state are plying as usual amid the fourth day of the ongoing bus strike announced by the transport employee unions demanding a hike in salary. Earlier, the Madras High Court had passed an order restraining the employees from going on strike and the government had warned serious consequences for employees who don’t return to work.
