A class IX student of Kalakkad Government Higher Secondary School was arrested for stabbing his classmate as the latter complained to a teacher about the former. The student named Kannan, who is the class leader, was stabbed in places including hand and thigh. While the student, who stabbed Kannan, was taken to a juvenile home in Palayamkottai, Kannan is receiving treatment at a hospital, say reports.
