The word Anna, widely used by people in Tamil Nadu reportedly found its entry in the Oxford English Dictionary. With this, the total number of Indian languages in Oxford Dictionary has become 70. In the dictionary, the word ‘Anna’ has been defined as 'Anna' in Telugu and Tamil means an elder brother, often used as a respectful title or form of address.
