Indonesia has reportedly threatened to block WhatsApp instant messaging app if it doesn’t remove sexually explicit content. Reports say, the government has already sent three notices to the Facebook-owned app to remove pornographic content and will block the app if they don’t receive any response by Wednesday. Notably, Indonesia has previously blocked web versions of messaging app Telegram in July because it included chat group for Islamic State group supporters.
