The Chairperson of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), Thol Tirumavalavan talked about Panjami Land case which became the talk of the town in Tamil Nadu after  Vetrimaran's recent blockbuster film ‘Asuran’ starring Dhanush.

A few days ago DMK president MK Stalin watched the film and posted a tweet appreciating the director, actor and the core content of the film that deals with forcibly acquiring the Panjami Land (Land allocated for the oppressed people) by upper caste people.

Following his tweet, PMK founder Dr S. Ramadoss triggered MK Stalin by accusing that the land of Murosoli (Office owned by DMK) is a Panjami Land. The conversation heated up after Stalin asked Ramadoss to prove his accusation and also published the land document. Ramadoss took a dig again demanding Stalin to submit the original document.

Amidst the controversy between Ramadoss and Stalin, Thirumavalavan answered one of the reporter’s question on the issue. It was said that Thirumavalavan took the name of Arivalayam (DMK's Head office) and linked it with the Panjami land case.

Now, as per the recent Vikatan report, Thirumavalavan had expressed his disapproval over dragging the name of Arivalayam into the issue. He said "I have not used the word 'Arivalayam' in my statement. When one reporter asked about Ramadoss's acquisition on Murosoli office, I told that M Karunanidhi (late DMK president) formed a board to retrieve the Panjamai Lands. Therefore, the now ruling ADMK government should operate that board. If that board comes into power, be it Mursoli office or Sirudavur Palace (Late CM J Jayalalitha’s farmhouse in Kanchipuram district), the truth will be decoded".
