THIEF TAKES NAP IN RAILWAY STATION, HELD WITH LOOTED GOLD

According to reports, one Prem Kumar from Ariyalur was caught with the gold jewelry that he robbed from a house in Saidapet. Apparently, the man who was tired, decided to take a nap in the Saidapet railway station. When he saw the police patrol, he reportedly tried to flee even before the police approached him.

Seeing the man’s activity, police chased him and found that he had stolen a pair of earring and a finger ring from a house. When police knocked the doors of the owner, they were allegedly surprised to know that the owner did not even notice that the pieces of jewelry were lost. Police remanded Prem Kumar after handing over the pieces of jewelry to the owner.
