These busy Chennai routes might soon be diverted

In an attempt to ease traffic congestion at Tidel Park and Thiruvanmiyur signal, the Chennai traffic police are reportedly planning to divert vehicles near the Indira Nagar MRTS through the Indira Nagar bridge across the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) during peak hours. According to a TOI report, police will soon be removing the median across the OMR on a temporary basis to give access to the Indira Nagar Bridge.
